在雅思写作备考过程中，小伙伴们一直有词汇备考的困扰，背什么单词？怎么背单词？这样的问题一直是老师们在课堂上和课下经常被问及的问题。其实，根据写作评分标——Lexical Resource这一项的要求可以从四个方面来进行写作单词备考1）Range of words 词汇的多样性2）Less common words不常见的词汇 3）Spelling拼写 4）Choices词汇的选择.其中的后两者大多数同学都能够基本理解，我们尝试阅读考官给出的评语和提供的满分范文，希望能够在词汇多样性和不常见词汇上有所收获。

例题一：Cambridge 7 Test 4

Some people think thatuniversity should provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed in theworkplaces. Others, think that the true function of a university should be togive knowledge for its own sake, regardless of whether the course is useful toan employer.

剑桥的范文评分为5分。关于Lexical Resource

此范文中一些句子如下：

1.What knowledge and skillsshould universities provide has been argued for many years.

考官说：“The high level ofrepetition [“knowledge and skills” is repeated nine times] also indicates limitations in the rangeof vocabulary although, apart from language given in the rubric, there isjust sufficient additional vocabulary for the task. ”

考官认为尽管作文中的其他额外的词汇对于写作任务而言刚好足够，可是重复使用knowledge and skills 9 次，暗示着考生在词汇多样性方面是有局限性的。

这就意味着这位考生，在range of words 方面，关键词knowledge and skills 并没有做到多样，因而词汇分数不能达到6+水平。

根据考官的范文，词汇的提分，可尝试如下技巧：

1. 同义词和具体举例

The same product不但有同义词 manufactured artifacts, international brands, brandpackages, traditional objects,还有具体的产品举例 teapot; bowl.

1. 不常见的词汇

   考官谈及相同产品的使用时，先说产品与文化相关，此处，取代常见的短语be intimately related to，考官使用了beinextricably bound up.

   写到国外产品会取代当地产品时，考官使用了 oust (驱逐) ,而不是大家常见的replace或 substitute

   写到文化时，考官全段未写到culture这个词，而是使用了 a place’s character，tea ceremony,ritual 这样的词汇
   

   谈到上述词汇，小伙伴们可能都认识，都认识，只是想不起来使用，针对于这一问题，在词汇备考方面，建议大家注意同义词替换，具体举例和不常见词汇的积累，并坚持做word family 笔记，做word family 笔记，做word family 笔记，这很重要，把常见话题的词汇进行词伙整理，在作文之前和之后进行翻阅和参考，替换，相信一定能够赢得考官的喜悦心。
