【Part 1-3
Part 1:第一部分warming up,必考话题 name, work or studyand hometown以及选挑话题hobbies andspare time.
history
1. have you ever learnt history?
e.g: of course, since my primary school, I havebegun to learn history as a compulsorycourse (必修课). At that time, our teacher gave us a vivid picture of the wholedevelopment of Chinese history by telling relevant stories or playinginteresting historical movies or video. That really motivated my desire and interest (激发兴趣) to do more research about our ancestors after school.
2. Do you think it is important to learn history?
e.g:without any doubt(毫无疑问), the importance of history learning can never be neglected. The more we know about the lessons orexperiences happening to our ancestors, the more errors or mistakes we can avoid in our future life. besides, history learning is also very significant for the spread of traditionalcultures.
3. Do the schools in China set up history as a main course?
e.g: Ihave to say that (不得不说) history is considered seriously in all stages of study in China. Fromprimary school to college education, history, although taught in differentmeans, is always in the curriculum(课程表). Students are frequently takento museums(带去博物馆) to learn history more directly and interestingly.
Part2: Part2话题中出现了较多的新题目,如:an interesting story in TV program, a place you visited that hasbeen polluted, a new skill you want to learn等,我们不难发现,有很多第二部分的新题要么从part 1 转化过来,要不是旧题目新面貌。
a place you have visited that has beenpolluted
1. Do you think thatpollution problem is serious in China now?
e.g: it is clear that now the pollutionproblems have been quite serious in China, especially the air pollution andwater pollution. As is known to all , with the wide use of fossil fuel, mainlyincluding coal and gas, a large number of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, some poisonous gas, have been emitted into the air, leading to the greenhouseeffect. What is more, countless factories release toxic gases without anydisposals and a greater number of cars also produce greenhouse gas. All thesecontribute to the severity of air pollution. In most of big or small cities inChina, people are suffering from the bad effects brought by smog. What is alsoworth mentioning is that a large number of waters in China have been pollutedbecause of the use of chemicals in our daily life as well as factories. Fishare dying out and people are suffering different diseases because of thepollution of fresh water. In a word, the pollution is a thorny problem foranyone in China.
2. What measures have beentaken by the government to solve the problem?
e.g: I have to admit that various measureshave been taken by the government. The most obvious one is about the limit onthe purchase and use of private cars. In big cities, such as Beijing orShanghai, people have to meet some requirements to get one car. Althoughsometimes this action is ineffective for the reduction of air pollution, yet itis a big step to control the pollution from the cars. Also, factories that usedto produce heavy pollution have been closed and punished to a large extent.
3. Is it possible forindividuals to take actions to prevent pollution?
e.g: of course, it is everyone’sresponsibility to take some effective action to help reduce pollution. As forindividuals, on the one hand, they can make full use of resources, such aswater, and try to use fewer disposable products, like plastic bags or boxes. Onthe other hand, individuals can supervise the factories or companies whichproduce sever pollution and report to the authorities

Well, one of the most famous scenic spots in my hometown, Mount Yuntai,is the place I once paid a close visit to when I was still studying in college. At that time, it was renowned as a five-star natural beauty. Every day, millions of travellers went to appreciate the splendid views of the mountains, falls and clear rivers. But, just last year, I re-visited this place and found most of the natural beauties had been polluted and damaged severely and strikingly. There, most of rivers have been polluted by some newly-built factories in the new cities around this natural place. They smelled bad and almost no fish was living there any more. The only left is various algae floating and some withered lotus flowers. What is disappointing is that many trees have been cut downand grassland has also disappeared. Instead, my high rises were built for accommodation. Because of the occupation of animals’ inhabits, many birds flew away or got killed and wild animals also migrated to other living places. The past scenes can never be seen any longer. When I saw all these, I felt wordless. Ialso felt sorry about the nature and guilty for what human has done to the nature. I thought one day people would never survive if the pollution never stopped and got controlled. I believe that it is the right time for government to take actions to prevent the issue from getting worse to threaten the living of citizens. |
