雅思听力选择题有两个特点，第一，正确答案是对选项的同义转换。第二，录音原文中会涉及到非正确选项的干扰，所以考生们在做选择题时要牢记，正确选项是被同义转换的，千万不可根据“选项相似性”来判断答案的正确与否。

　　一、笔者总结了常出现的同义替换的几种情况：

　　1.同近义词替换

　　e.g.：

　　book---reserve

　　solve---handle---tackle

　　2.同根词替换。

　　e.g.：

　　clear---clearly---clarity ---clarify；

　　method ---methodology

　　3.上下义替换。

　　e.g.：

　　wildlife---animal

　　vegetation---plant---tree---vegetable

　　4.数字转换。

　　e.g.：

　　fortnight---14 days---2 weeks

　　25% ---1/4

　　a decade --- 10 years

　　a century---100 years

　　二、并列排除原则

　　在雅思听力中，由并列连接词连接的任何两个选项都不能选，这样的情况下，考生们要选择第三个。常出现的连词有：and；or；as well as；Not only…but also…； Neither…nor…；Both…and…

　　以上就是选择题二个解题原则，下面我们结合题例为各位考生们讲解一下这二个原则在实际中如何运用：

　　此题限定词at the present， 预判断会出现2个不是目前能看到的景色进行干扰。

　　对A、B选项进行干扰。听到这里如果已经听出说的是A和B，可以用并列选项排除法直接选择C，如果没听出and引导的并列结构，继续往下听。

　　But there are interesting events on all year round…for example John Havers， our expert fly fisherman， is currently giving display on the lake. But转折信号词，后边常加真正的答案。证明答案就在下一句，选择C选项。
