When it comes to this topic, I’d like to talk about a restaurant called Jiangnan Gongshe. I’m not quite sure about its English name. it’s well-known in the local area, not far from my house, about 10 minute’s drive. During weekends, you need to book the seat well ahead of time. The reason I like the restaurant is quite simple, I’m a Szechuan cuisine lover. I like a range of Szechuan dishes from Kung Pao Chicken to Bean Sauce Tofu, from braised egg plant to Szechuan beef, from Steamed Fish Head with Diced Hot Red Peppers to Szechuan Prawns. Though they are quite spicy, for me, it tastes like heaven. Now it’s really in among the locals. The chefs in the restaurant can cook authentic Szechuan. Quite fantastic. During weekends, I will hang out with several good pals to this restaurant to have a big meal. It’s very clean and the decorations are very distinct. Compared with the foreign cuisine like Indian, Japanese, Korean, I prefer Chinese traditional restaurant. The Steamed Fish Head with Diced Hot Red Peppers is the dish I order every time. Most of time I will add some Chinese noodles into it. it’s tasty, maybe next time you can have a try. After meals, we usually share some happiness and bitterness with each other. And recently we are always interested in the gossips in the showbiz like the romance between Li chen and Fan Bingbing. We always talk and smile at free. We don’t have to lower our voice. It’s great in a restaurant like this. Then, we can have more choices to entertain ourselves like singing songs, going shopping or even watching films. Coz the restaurant is quite close to these recreation facilities. I truly love the restaurant coz the taste is always authentic. |
