Describe a book you love reading You should say: Which book it is When kind of that book When did you read it for the first time And explain why do you love reading it |
I have many favorite books, including Chinese ones and English ones. Today I would like to say a book I love and read recently, and its name is Becoming Jane. This book is a biographical literature and written by an American writer——Joe Hunt Spencer. It tells us the story of Jane Austin’s life and her masterpieces. It’s been a long time, but I can still remember the first time when I read this book. That’s hot summer, I found this claret-colored book in the corner of a little bookstore. And the name Jane caught my attention immediately because I love reading her novels. It’s really quite curious for me and I eager to know more of Jane Austin’s world after I have enjoyed myself so much in her fictions. This book is very educational for me, and the most valuable thing is telling me the love experience of Jane and Tom who was a famous lawyer in Ireland. They met very accidently when they were very young, and Jane fell in love with this clever and sly man quickly. But very unfortunately both of their families wanted them to marry richer people, and it’s quite a reasonable way due to their financial situations at that time. Therefore, poor Jane and Tom had no choice but separated with each other. Jane was so disappointed with love, she kept herself away from it and never married anyone for the rest of her life. She didn’t become Mrs. Lefroy but one of the most famous writer in British history.
