6月15号的口语考试变化不大,都是一些常见话题,新话题也不是很难。有几个难度较大,比如Describe a language, except English。非英语专业的考生回答起来会很困难。
Describe a language, except English
What you should mention in this part:
What type of language you have learned before
Detail this experience
很多考生没有学过英语以外的外语,但是一定在生活中有所体会,把自己的体会说出来,适当扩充,足以应付这2mins。
Example:
I have learned German myself years before, not systematically, but intermittently. You might have been interested in why did I do this, as German is entirely different with English, unlike French which has always been chosen by students, especially English learning students, as their 2nd foreign language. Well, I’m quite fascinated with Germany, which I think is a very energetic country with the reputation of excellence and armed with modern tech. Therefore I simply chose German as my 2nd foreign language completely due to my personally interest.
German, as we suppose, obviously is quite different with English, from spelling to pronunciation. For instance, “Hello” in German is “Hallo” and pronounced like “Hello” in Chinese accent; and “Goodbye” in German is “Auf Wiedersehen” which you can see that’s nothing to do at all with English. That really fascinates me since England France and Germany, known as neighbours across English Channel, are using different language. Well, French is fine because it at least has got some relationships, more or less, with English. But German is catastrophically a nightmare which fascinates me quite a lot. I think German is more likely related with Northern European languages like Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Danish, and all of which have been fascinating me for years.
