1. How many hours do you usually sleep every day?
2. How many hours should we spend in sleep each day?
3. Is sleep at noon very important?
范例答案参考
1. I usually sleep about 6 hours a day, and I think it is enough for me, because I am always feeling energetic during the day.
2. I guess it depends, for I read an article and it said that some people have to sleep for about nine hours a day while for some others six hours’ rest is enough. On the other hand, sleeping too much is not healthy, so I think maybe six to nine hours’ sleep is enough for most adults.
3. Yes I think taking a nap at noon is very important, because mainly our brain has a rest during sleeping. As for me, if I can have a rest during working hours in the day I would be more energetic and efficient in the afternoon. So I think sleep at noon is very important.

范例答案参考
I can never forget the photos and documents lost when I was in high school.
When I was writing an essay, my desktop was getting slower and slower, for I typed in some sentences but the word processing software was not responding. So I asked my father for help and he checked antivirus logs, scanned disks and found that the system was infected by an adware. The antivirus suggested us to clean the computer by deleting the infected files so we did so. Then the computer asked to restart the system to finish cleaning and we clicked “Yes”. After few seconds, the computer restarted and shown the famous blue screen, saying that there was a system file missing. At that time, I didn’t know what to do so I called my cousin for help and he suggested me to try “Safe Mode” or repair the system by installation disk. Step by step, I tried both for several times but they just didn’t work. I was feeling quite anxious and worried for I had to hand in a paper the next day but this desktop was the only computer I got. Therefore, I had to bring my computer to a computer maintenance centre near my community, and asked a specialist to save my computer. He said it was easy and reinstalled the operating system without telling me my disk would be formatted. I was almost in tears when I saw a brand new system but all my photos, documents and music was lost. Though I tried some special scanner and indeed most files were recovered, but still there were about 2GB photos and documents lost or damaged.
I learnt a lesson with costs. I lost precious files recording high school experiences, but I learnt it is extremely important to backup data somewhere else, because there is a price tag on hardware but data is priceless.

2. What would you do if you found something someone had lost?
范例答案参考
1. Usually softcopies of personal photos and documents are easy to be lost, because most people have no idea to backup files regularly. But actually computers including hardware and software are not as stable as we thought. There are many potential threats that cause data loss, for example malware like virus, worms and adware, hardware malfunctioning or even a cup of coffee near your keyboard. So I think files in computers are most often lost.
2. I would try my best to find its owner. First I would have a close check on it, in order to find any clues to the personal information of the owner. If there were some cellphone numbers, E-mail or home address, I would contact the owner so he would not be worried anymore. If unfortunately there was no such contact information, I would send it to Lost and Found or the police, so they would be in charge of the lost item and find the owner hopefully.
