原创范例：
I thought of the time when I was in the university. It was two years ago and the person I am going to talk about is my classmate called Jacob. He is not a local student as you can infer from his name. He is from Poland, a country in the middle Europe. Actually at first, I was kind of like him because he always had his own opinions on almost every issue. The critical thinking ability he conveyed really surprised us since most Chinese students are not that critical. But later, my classmates and I found him difficult to cooperate with. At that time, we had to do group project in the form of group presentation or group report and coincidentally, Jacob and I were in the same group. Every student in the group was supposed to write their own part and Jacob always liked to edit others’ words to make the whole group work in his style. Additionally, he was used to persuading others in order to promote his ideas. However, most group members were not persuaded and insisted on their original thoughts. Then, Jacob complained that Chinese excluded him. This argument made us really annoyed since we felt strange about his conclusion that we pushed him aside and we also got angry when he modify our reports without telling us again and again. However, I was still friendly to him since he was an international student and it was easily to feel lonely when in a foreign land. Secondly, we had to finish team work assigned and quarrelling or arguing was not the best way to solve the problem. |
