【小作文】表格,3个年份5种锻炼方式比较

话题分析:在接连流程图和地图题以后,本周小作文写作是比较简单的表格题。写作重点在于数据的横纵向的比较并且进行有逻辑和调理的论述。截止到24日,2014年雅思小作文中表格题只在今年的222日,213日和19(线图3次,饼图1次,柱状图2次以及流程图地图4次),相对出现比较平均,也可以说符合雅思出题规律。值得注意的是6月可能会出现饼图和柱状图。

今年关于青少年对于教育的态度和教育目的的考察可以说是比较常见的。本次话题类似20140412日的话题(Some say the purpose of education is to prepare individuals to beuseful to society. Others say the purpose of education is to achieve personalambitions. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.)和2014118日的话题(Children find it difficult toconcentrate on or pay attention to school.What are the reasons? How can wesolve this problem? )可以说对广大考生来说是旧题重出。但是从难度上来说,还是属于比较困难的,因此在参加考试前要请广大考生多加练习。

话题解析

本题从体裁角度来说是说明文,关于某个现象的原因和解决方法。从题材来说是教育话题,不难看出今年教育类话题的增加和对教育现象的本质的探讨。

本话题存在两个考点:

1. Leave school并不是指单纯的离开学校,而是有毕业的意思,但是更多的存在中途辍学和退学的意思,结合本话题中的意思(encourage people to study),写作重点放在辍学和退学上会比较好。

2. 题目中的第二个问题是如何鼓励这些年轻人继续学习(study,所以在段落中重点放在学习上,而不是在工作或者生活上。

Currently,a booming of young people leave school with a negative attitude. The possiblecontributing factors of this issue will be explored and some feasible solutionsto encourage the young generation to continue studying would be presented inthe following paragraphs.

The maincause of the phenomenon should be a lack of effective command of specifiedknowledge of students’ own fields, which is commonly required by employers.This is because, to a great extent, the main purpose of education aims ta masteringa wide range of subjects but ignores students’ personal interests andambitions, which may negatively influence students’ vocational choice.Accordingly, to acquire more practical skills, those students who fail to getused to this may have no choice but to leave school earlier with a passiveattitude.Besides, the stereotyped teaching methos could not cultivate youngpeople’ s interests, let alone fully discovering their latent capacity andbringing all potentialities into full play. As a results, these students arelikely to lose interest in academic study and feel deflated when facing thecoming intense employment competition. Consequently, a few students decide tiend up school pessimistically.

As forthe solution of this problem, the change of educational purpose and improvedteaching approaches are the keys. For one thing, aims of education should beachieving personal ambitions and thus schools should encourage students torealize a certain goal and learn practical skills. With a profound preoccupationwith individuals’ ambitions, it will be hugely possible for students to devotethemselves into study, enable them to have chances to discover what they areinterested in . For another, schools should make a way out and try new teachingmethod, the method that teenagers are really into or the methods that bringshappiness as well as spiritual growth.

To sumup, the causes of school-leavers’ passive attitude lie in two factors, theimproper purpose of education and stereotyped teaching approach, but effectivemeasures, such as making the necessary adjustments to current educationalsystem and finding new ways to stimulate students’ interest in study, could beadopted.
